Almost 11 years ago I packed my whole life into 3 suitcases and moved across the ocean for a guy I knew for 12 months.
He’s a keeper.

Almost 20 years ago I moved across my country to go to college.

I applied for a bunch of student aid and off I went. And when I go back to that time, I remember how insanely freeing this felt, to just be able to want something and go get it.

That freedom is still how I build business.

A year ago I quit my full time job of 8 years and went full time with my brand photography business.

I was taught not to pursue certain things because I am a woman…

I have been taught to believe I shouldn’t pursue or do certain things because I am a woman and what others would think.

So when it comes to big decisions I move like men. I just do it, and figure it out as I go.

And I don’t give two seconds in my day to entertain other people’s opinions.

It became clear to me that the reason why I choose to work with women who own and run businesses is my own story of learning how to show up and own my power.

Because I knew I was NOT the only one who would rather play it safe, be nice, hold it in… and develop autoimmune disease, than say fuck it and become an inconvenience.
